Fugitive arrested on drug charges in Milford
MILFORD, Del. – Milford Police arrested a wanted fugitive on several drug charges early Friday morning.
Just after midnight, Milford Police Department’s Drug Unit saw 35-year-old Ernest Johnson walking in the 400 block of North Street. Knowing that Johnson was currently wanted on a capias for failing to appear for a hearing, police made contact with Johnson and took him into custody. He was also found to be in possession of two and a half bundles of suspected heroin (32 dosages).
He was charged with second offense – manufactures, delivers, or possesses with intent to manufacture, deliver a controlled substance. He was held on $10,000 secured bail on the new charge and $100,000 cash bail on the capias.
