Police make dream come true

has been diagnosed with brain cancer. today– members of the new castle county police department — along with swat and k-9 members– all gathered to present angel and his family with a motorcade– and a ride along. this was all part of the make a wish foundation– to fulfill angel’s dream of becoming a police officer. not only was he honored today as an officer — he was also named honorable captain for the day. the event was intended to help public fundraising to cover his parents’ expenses. which is excellent news to hear the community rallying for the family. we wish you the best!
