Help restock the ReStore

Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County’s ReStore is a retail outlet that sells furniture, appliances, building material, kitchen cabinets, windows, doors, hardware, and more.

All the items are donated by local individuals and businesses, and everything is sold at bargain prices and the profits go towards the construction or rehabilitation of Habitat homes for local, low-incoming, deserving families.

The ReStore is dependent on the generosity of the community to donate items that they no longer need. So, they ask that if you getting new furniture, remodeling your kitchen or buying new appliances, considering donating your old items to the ReStore.

Don’t let the delivery guys haul your old things away to be recycled, call the Habitat ReStore and schedule a FREE pick up. They also take hardware, tools, outdoor furniture and lawn equipment.

Free pickups are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week, and all donors receive a donation form for their income tax purposes. ReStore shoppers benefit because they can buy gently used items for their homes at a reduced cost, unwanted items can get a new life without being discarded in the landfill, and most importantly, the ReStore can sell these items to help build more future Habitat homes.

Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County has apparently built 62 homes since 1987.

The ReStore is open to the public Wednesday-Friday, 10 AM -4:30 PM and Saturday, from 10 AM -3 PM, and free donation pickups are available in Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset Counties.

Contact the ReStore at  410-749-6325, or visit their website for more information about scheduling a free pickup, volunteering or how to become a Habitat homeowner.
