Baltimore man charged after stealing a package from a Seaford residence

SEAFORD, Del. – Seaford Police arrested a Baltimore man Sunday afternoon after he stole a package from the front porch of a residence.

At around 12:45 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of West Ivy Drive after a concerned citizen saw an individual fleeing with a package that was on the front porch of a home. With the help of the citizen who reported the incident, officers located the subject, identified as 22-year-old Sentell Burks, a short distance from the scene.

The stolen property was also recovered and returned to the owner.

Burks was charged with theft under $1,500 and was released on $1,000 unsecured bail.
