WiHi rallies at Queen Anne’s to advance in playoffs

CENTREVILLE, Md. – WiHi defeated Queen Anne’s, 34-21, to advance in the 2A playoffs Friday night in Centerville.

Down 14-6 in the first, The Tribe starting to make a comeback thanks to a touchdown from Daniel Garcia-Ailon.

The Tribe scored again on an outstanding effort from Tavenon Outlaw to take a six-point lead.

Outlaw scored again with a deep ball from Landon Roache, making it his third on the night. Tribe led, 27-14, going into the fourth quarter.

Queen Anne’s tried to rally with a touchdown from John Connolly, but couldn’t pull through. 

WiHi advances to the second round of the 2A playoffs where they will play Decatur.
