Police: Man found dead on docked boat, active investigation

MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating after a man was found dead on his boat, Saturday afternoon.

Around 1:30 p.m., officials were called to the 1700 block of Paleo Way because of an unresponsive man. When they arrived, they found a 71-year-old lying in his boat that was docked at the back of his home.

EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. His name is not being released until his family is notified. The Delaware Division of Forensic Science is conducting an autopsy but police say they don’t believe foul play was involved.
