City of Cambridge Election results certified, run-off election for Mayor scheduled

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – City officials have announced that the results of the City of Cambridge Election, held on Saturday, have been certified.

The winners have been certified:

  • Ward One Commissioner: Brett Summers – 54.56% of votes
  • Ward Two Commissioner: Shay Lewis-Sisco – 50.96% of votes
  • Ward Three Commissioner: Frank Stout – 73.46% of votes
  • Ward Four Commissioner: Sputty Cephas – 54.14% of votes
  • Ward Five Commissioner: Brian Roche – 100% of votes.

The candidates for Mayor did not receive at least 50% of the votes cast, resulting in a run-off election to be held on December 3rd. Andrew Bradshaw received 40.99% of the votes, with Lajan Cephas receiving 42.52%.
