Outdoor Burn Ban issued for Worcester Co.
SNOW HILL, Md. – An outdoor Burn Ban has been issued for Worcester County.
This means all outdoor burning is banned indefinitely throughout the county, with a few exceptions. Proper use of gas and charcoal grills, campfires at the County’s commercial, state, and federal campgrounds, permitted official Ocean City bonfires, private property recreational campfires limited to an area of two feet and a height of three feet, and public fireworks displays are still permitted.
The ban will remain in effect until dry conditions dissipate.
