Hermine’s impact on Ocean City businesses

was a lot of local businesses hoping for the best during what is normally an important three days of business — and from those we spoke with — the weather didn’t derail commerce one bit. a staffer at blu crabhouse and raw bar said that they were slammed all weekend long. and at the quiet storm surf shop — business may have even seen a boost. i think it affected it positively. butt sot i actually think it helps us because everyone is off the beach and going shopping more say than hanging out at the beach all day. and some folks did venture out into the water… according to the ocean city beach
