Overnight fatal fire under investigation in Kent Co.

HARTLY, Del. – An overnight house fire claimed the life of one in Hartly.

Delaware State Fire Marshals say the fire was reported just before 3:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Crystal Road. Firefighters arrived at the scene to find a detached garage and a single family home on fire.

We’re told a victim was found dead in the detached garage. No other injuries were reported.

The fire remains under investigation.
