Wilmington woman charged following crash in Felton
FELTON, Del. – A Wilmington woman was arrested after police say she hit another vehicle, injuring a man in Felton.
According to Felton Police, the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on October 8. Officers were called to the 100 block of Lumbard Street for an offensive touching complaint. When police arrived, they reportedly found a male victim was sitting in a vehicle complaining of an injury to his knee.
Investigation revealed that the female suspect, identified as 20-year-old Erny Jocelyn Cain, was trying to leave in a vehicle and sideswiped the victim’s car causing the injury to his knee. Cain fled the scene in an unknown direction before the arrival of police.
Police had enough evidence to have warrants drafted for Cain’s arrest. On October 10, Cain turned herself into police where she was arrested and processed on a slew of charges.
She was later released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.
