Police searching for suspects in Dover robbery
DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a Dover area robbery and are asking for the public’s help.
Police say the incident took place just before 7:30 p.m. when two victims were on a blue and white Suzuki dirt bike near the intersection of Howell Street and Carter Avenue. They were approached by two men who allegedly assaulted the victims and stole the dirt bike.
After the robbery, the victims ran to the Dollar General at 2071 South Dupont Highway in Camden to call 911. They reportedly suffered minor injuries.
Further investigation led troopers to identify one of the suspects as 34-year-old Carlton Harris. Harris has active warrants for first degree robbery, second degree conspiracy, and third degree assault. Troopers are actively working to identify and locate the other suspect.
