Three men were arrested following a burglary and pursuit with police in Sussex County

LEWES, Del. – Delaware state police say this morning around 2:30 — troopers patrolling coastal highway noticed a honda swerving on the road.
Police tried to pull over the car over — at which time it fled at a high rate of speed. Later on that same morning — police were dispatched to a burglary at Chic at the Beach. Police say four suspects forced their way inside the business and stole merchandise. Troopers later located the same vehicle at the store at which point another chase ensued. The driver was identified as 20-year-old ilon Melson, of Washington DC. Two other suspects who fled the scene were later identified as 20-year-old Marcus Galmon, also of DC, and 34-year-old Richard Francis, of Hanover, Maryland. All three of them were arrested on a slew of charges. Police are currently looking for one other unknown suspect.

Richard Francis was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and is in the custody of the Department of Correction on a $30,000 cash bond.

Marcus Gallmon was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $30,000 cash bond.
