Salisbury Police offer tips following recent car break-ins

SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury Police are reminding residents to keep their vehicles locked at all times following a recent increase in break-ins.

Police say car break-ins are one of the easiest crimes to prevent.

Police recommend keeping the inside of your car clean, never leaving valuables, including bags, purses, wallets, laptops, cell phones, loose change, or anything that may appear valuable in plain view. Additionally, don’t leave your car unattended for long periods of time, especially while running, and always remove the keys, roll up the windows, and lock the doors before you leave your vehicle.
