Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller visits Crisfield Crab and Clam bake to connect with local officials
CRISFIELD, Md. – Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller made a special appearance at the Crisfield Crab and Clam Bake.
The Lieutenant Governor met with local politicians and officials from local universities, like the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Salisbury University.
She said events like this help bolster the state of Maryland, and personally connect with people who are most effected by issues, such as flooding.
“Governor Moore and I believe those closest to the challenge are closest to the solution, and it’s important to meet people where they are, so being here with the locals and hearing what the issues and concerns are is very important to us, because they’re our partners and we’re going to do what we can to work together,” Lieutenant Governor Miller said.
