Sewer main rehabilitation in Ocean City

Ocean City officials say that rehabilitation work affecting the 32nds street neighborhoods is set to begin on March 27 instead of on the 20.

Officials cite the recent storm for the northeast for the delay. They say that a door hanger will be placed by contractors at homes that will be affected by maintenance work.

Work will begin at 8 am and during this time sewer service has to be discontinued for a period of ten hours.

Residents are encouraged not to discharge into the system until work is finished and to pour a cup of water in all sink traps.
