AIDS Del. gears up for annual AIDS Walk
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – The annual AIDS Walk Delaware is this Saturday.
The walk brings folks together from around the region to Rehoboth Beach. The goal is to raise money to go towards support services in the First State. There will also be food pantry resources and free flu shots at the event.
Tiffany Morman with AIDS Delaware is looking forward to a big turnout for year 39 of the event,
and encourages folks to lace up and walk for a good cause.
“We just want to stand in unity and agree, because agreement is missing in our country right now,” Morman said. “We want to agree that we want to come together and raise money and have fun and help the people that need it in our state.”
Early registration will open at 8:30am. The walk will kick off at 9:30am on Saturday, at Grove Park.
