Salisbury man pleads guilty to sexually abusing child
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a minor.
On Monday, the morning of the trial, 48-year-old Rafael Colon-Echevarria pleaded guilty, following an investigation that revealed he sexually abused a child under the age of 10 between 2015 and 2019.
Sentencing was deferred pending a mandatory pre-sentence investigation and mental health assessment. He will be required to register as a Tier III sexual offender for life and be subject to Lifetime Sexual Offender Supervision.
