Dover Police searching for Pine Grove burglary suspect who fired shot at resident

Dover Police are currently investigating a Monday morning burglary at the Pine Grove Apartments on Webbs Lane where a suspect reportedly shot at a 28-year-old resident.

At around 8:29 Monday morning, police say a man left his apartment to take out his trash, leaving the apartment unsecured. Once he returned to his apartment, the man reportedly saw a male suspect standing in his hallway. Police say the suspect fired a single shot at the man before fleeing from the apartment. The resident was not hit by the round or injured in the incident. 

Police say the suspect is described as a black male with medium complexion, standing around 6' tall and wearing a hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head.
