Ocean City gears up for annual Bikefest

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City is gearing up for Bikefest next week.

It’s the largest motorcycle rally on the East Coast and will run from September 11th – 15th. Bikefest will take over Downtown Ocean City with live music and various vendors.

The event brings in bikers from across the region, which Mayor Rick Meehan said drives business in the area.

“The bikers that come to town, they’re great customers. They’re courteous, they’re friendly, they’re really welcomed by the local businesses, because they really do bring a lot to Ocean City,” Mayor Meehan said.
