SkipJack Heritage Museum treasurer Bobby Shores still thinks the races went as smoothly as possible.
“The skipjack is part of the heritage of this area and the skipjack heritage museum as the words say we’re preserving that heritage and we’re even restoring a Skipjack called the city of Crisfield,” Shores said.
The City of Crisfield’s Skipjack will hopefully be available in next year’s races, an announcement is expected soon in early 2025.
