New independent bookstore opens in Milford

MILFORD, Del. – A new independent bookstore in Milford is officially opening, providing community members with a space for books and crafts.

Owner, Delaware native Kori Lewandoski is opening the ‘Crafty Reader,’ a book store featuring a selection of new and used books and handmade craft goods from local artists.

Lewandoski says it was difficult to locate indie bookstores in her area, so she created one herself. We’re told she’s also always looking to give more space to local artisans.

The grand opening will take place Friday, August 30th starting at 11 a.m. at 39 North Walnut Street Ste 104C in Milford, DE.
