Dorchester Structure Fires Under Investigation

CAMBRIDGE, Md – Cambridge Police and Fire department responded to 5093 Stone Boundary Road for a call of a structure fire and two structures were destroyed in the process causing over half a million in damage.

The fire originated inside the butcher shop shortly after the owner had been doing work inside.  Embers from this fire landed on the cedar shingles of the vacant nearby 100+ year old home eventually spreading to the remainder of the house.  Both structures are considered a total loss.

Details remained limited at this time and the fire is still under investigation.
