Remembering Mr. William Handy

Salisbury, MD.- A longtime bus driver for Wicomico County Public Schools has passed away a career of service.

William Handy also known as Billy or Bill was an entrepreneur, bus driver, and bus contractor for the School System for many years.

Mr. Handy was well respected for his love and compassion for children and his concern for their safety getting to and from school.

Handy also worked for the former Stewart Funeral Home as a funeral associate.

Mr. Handy passed away at his home earlier this week, he was 83 years old.

Handy’s service will be on Saturday, August 31st at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm to 2 pm, the service will start at 2 pm, and the interment will be at  Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron following the service.
