OC Tram accident claims life of 2-year-old

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police are investigating a fatal crash involving an Ocean City Tram on the Boardwalk.

Police say a 2-year-old boy was crossing the Boardwalk tram pad near Dorchester Street at around 8:15 p.m. when he was hit by a southbound tram. The boy was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
