DSP looking for participants for Citizens Police Academy
DELAWARE – The Delaware State Police Citizens Police Academy is looking for its next set of participants for the 2024 year.
The academy is a 9 week program that will be held at Troop 3 in Kent County. Those who attend will take part in a wide variety of activities that will provide a glimpse of what state troopers experience on a day to day basis. Participants will also have the opportunity to ride-along with trooper.
Corporal Lewis Briggs also says “Participants will have the opportunity to learn about how the state police function and the history of the state police. And the different special units and how they operate. and the success these units have investigating crime”.
