Local organization hosts school supplies giveaway

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – A local organization is gearing up to give back to the Princess Anne community.

The PureWord Bible Church is hosting it’s back to school giveaway, Saturday. Members from the church will be giving 75 backpacks filled with school supplies to elementary school children.

Event coordinator, Karen Krieg, said any way they can, they want to help.

“We just like giving back to our community and loving people, just like Jesus did, and whatever means we see a need for,” Krieg said.

The first-come-first-serve event will be held from 9-12PM at 11350 Stewart Neck Road in Princess Anne.
