UPDATE: Laurel Police arrest Fulton Bank robbery suspect
7/31 UPDATE: Laurel Police have arrested the suspect in this bank robbery.
Through the investigation, investigators worked with the FBI to identify the suspect as 47-year-old David Dorvilier of Laurel. A warrant was obtained for his arrest, and just after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, he was arrested at his residence in the 600 block of Pasture Lane, in the Hollybrook Apartments. While being taken into custody, he was found to be in possession of cocaine and related drug paraphernalia.
Dorvilier was charged with first degree robbery and held at SCI on a $60,000 cash only bail.

7/30 UPDATE: An investigation is underway following a bank robbery in Laurel Monday morning.
According to police, the incident was reported just before 9:30 a.m., at the Fulton Bank on Sussex Highway. It was quickly determined that the suspect had already fled the area, and law enforcement subsequently secured the area to begin investigating.
It was revealed that a man had reportedly walked into the bank and gave one of the tellers a demand note. After receiving an unknown amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot toward Discount Land Road. During a canvass of neighboring businesses just before the robbery, officers also learned that the same suspect allegedly shoplifted from the Dollar General next to the bank.
We’re told the man is believed to be in his 40s, approximately 5’8″ to 5’10”, wearing a large white t-shirt over an off-white t-shirt, light gray long shorts, a red flat-brim cap with a black mill and green/yellow/red marijuana leaf logo, and white shoes with black soles.
