Street dedicated to retired TidalHealth Nanticoke doctor

SEAFORD, Del. – The City of Seaford acknowledged Dr. Steve Carey’s years of dedication and service to the Western Sussex County community by unveiling a sign honoring him.

The sign was placed above Memorial Drive, a street he drove down countless times on his way to save lives at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford. Dr. Carey played a vital role in the development of Delaware’s statewide trauma system as a founder of the program and helped bring a comprehensive trauma surgery program to Western Sussex County.
