DelDOT searching for public feedback ahead of new road project

DELAWARE. – DelDOT is looking for feedback on a new project in Sussex County.

On August 6th, DelDOT officials are hosting a workshop where the community will be able to learn about the Route 54 and Hudson Road intersection project.

The Department will begin construction in 2027, adding a roundabout to the intersection, and DelDOT project manager, Mark Whiteside, said they want residents to learn about the full scope of the project at the workshop.

“Members of the project team will be at the workshop to explain the information that is being presented, and hopefully answer any questions that the public has,” Whiteside said. “We certainly encourage the public to provide comments and give reasons to either why they support or oppose the project.”

Whiteside urges anyone who is able to attend to join them at 80 Bethany Road in Selbyville, between 4 and 7 PM.
