Parsonsburg man arrested following sex abuse investigation

WICOMICO CO., Md. – A Parsonsburg man has been charged in connection to a sex abuse investigation.

We’re told the Wicomico Child Advocacy Center began investigating a reported sexual abuse of a minor. The victim reported multiple incidents of sexual abuse that took place several years ago.

The suspect was identified as 66-year-old Reginald Shockley, who had been employed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who frequently had access to children during his employment. He was arrested on Tuesday on a warrant stemming from the investigation.
