Fire hydrant flushing scheduled for Tuesday in Snow Hill

SNOW HILL, Md. – The Town of Snow Hill has announced the flushing of fire hydrants on Tuesday.

Flushing is set to take place between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. During this time, citizens may experience low water pressure, rusty water, and air in water lines. It is not recommended to wash white laundry during the flushing process.

Water pressure will return after flushing is completed. Running an outside faucet can eliminate any rusty water or air in water lines.
