Early morning shooting in Hartly under investigation
HARTLY, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating an early morning shooting in Hartly.
Police were called to the 2000 block of Slaughter Station Road at around 4 a.m. for a report of shots fired. It was learned that an unknown suspect fired several rounds at the house from a passing vehicle. Numerous shell casings were subsequently recovered at the scene.
We’re told there were two adults in the home at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured. The motive remains unclear.
