Local organization hosts adoption Paw Palooza

SALISBURY, Md. – the city, in partnership with Grass Roots Rescue, held a Paw Palooza adoption event, Sunday afternoon.

The rescue center brought four different dogs for community members to adopt. Salisbury community program coordinator, Logan Dillon, said bringing the pups to the people can eliminate the hassle of traveling to a shelter, and gives the whole family an opportunity to bond with their potential pet.

“It’s hard to get to the centers sometimes for people to find these dogs and actually bond with them a little bit, so we figured if we bring them to the community, people can come and hang out with the dogs and see what it’s like,” Dillon said.
