Good Morning Delmarva discusses documentary PTSD911’s upcoming screening

47ABC – PTSD911 is an award-winning documentary that dives into the day to day of first responders and their service to the community.

This morning, Heather Brown, executive director for Behind the Line, stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to tell us more about the film and its upcoming screening on June 7th.

The documentary takes the viewer through the lives of actual first responders, their experiences, and how their lives have changed.

They hope to bring awareness to others especially in terms of first responders human struggles. It’s important to recognize them and acknowledge their sacrifice.

PTSD911 even touches on how you can help provide resources so first responders can deal with these challenges in a healthy way.

Heather Brown says that they have received a ton of support and love from the community since debuting the film.

There will be a showing at Wor-Wic Community College on June 7th starting at 5:30PM.

The director will be there to talk more about what inspired him and what went into creating the documentary.

Brown also says there will be a panel of local first responders there to share their views.
