Ocean City’s inaugural Jellyfish Festival wraps up
OCEAN CITY, Md. – The first ever Jellyfish Festival in Ocean City wrapped up on Sunday.
The festival is essentially a three-day concert held right on the beach off of North Division Street.
All sorts of entertainment was offered at the festival like performances from a freestyle motocross team and competitions for surfers on top of the live music.
Faith-based bands like the Newsboys and Crowder wrapped up the festival on Sunday.
Visitors from across Maryland tell 47ABC, the first ever Jellyfish Festival was certainly a success.
“They’ve had a lot going on, and they’ve had a lot for a lot of different areas for families to kind of enjoy,” said Brian Abell, an Annapolis resident.
“They’ve had a lot of good music, good shows,” said Abell.
This was the first time Ocean City hosted a festival solely for music on the beach.
The Jellyfish Festival is expected to become an annual event in the resort town.
