Caroline Co. Public Library set to unveil renovations, Saturday

Kent Co. Public Library Reopens

DENTON, Md.- The Denton Library will cut the ribbon to new beginnings, Saturday.

After a feasibility study was conducted, library officials decided it was time for some essential updates, like adding a family bathroom near the children’s rooms and adding more outlets throughout the library.

Executive director of the Caroline County public library, Debby Bennett, said she’s looking forward to the public getting enhanced use with the facility.

“People are spending more time in the library. They’re not just coming here and checking out a book; individuals, groups, families, they come to the library to spend time, and we needed more people space,” Dennette said.

The ribbon cutting will be held at 100 Market Street in Denton, from 11-1.
