Today’s Forecast: June 21, 2019
Happy first day of summer! Summer arrived at 11:54 AM today, but it won’t necessarily feel like summer tonight as cooler air moves in behind a cold front. It will be a mostly clear night with temperatures falling into the lower 60s.
Expect plenty of sunshine for Saturday with low humidity and pleasant temperatures near 80 degrees. Sunday will be mostly sunny and warmer with highs reaching the mid 80s.
Monday will be partly sunny with the chance for a thunderstorm or two. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90. An isolated storm is possible Tuesday, otherwise skies will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the lower 90s.
The 90 degree temperatures and higher humidity will continue Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday under mostly sunny skies. If temperatures hit 90 degrees for at least three days in a row next week, it would be our first official heat wave this year. Stay tuned.
Have a great night and wonderful weekend!
