Kaitlyn Pierce walks it off for the Spartans

FELTON, Del.– Lake Forest defeated Laurel in a final score of 1-0 on Thursday afternoon.

Kylee Hill for Laurel and Carah Sumpter for Lake were locked in a pitchers duel throughout all 7 innings. Kaitlyn Pierce would be the hero as she would hit a chopper down the 3rd baseline, Laurel would have a wild throw to 1st to win the game. 

Lake Forest moves to 12-2 on the season.
