Wicomico Co. Public Library to unveil new Library Locker

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – Wicomico County Public Library officials are excited to announce the unveiling of the newest Library Locker.

The new locker will be located in Bivalve and will join the fleet of 5 others that are located in various cities and towns across Wicomico County.

Library director, Seth Hershberger, said the new addition in that community will help promote reading in the area, for everyone who contributes to this vital county resource.

“We want everybody, no matter where they live in Wicomico County, to have access to the public libraries,” Hershberger said. “It’s a resource that belongs to everyone; everyone’s tax dollars are supporting it, and this is a way that folks, even out there, can have access to physical resources.”

The ribbon cutting for the new locker will take place on Saturday, May 4th, at 1PM, at the Westside Community Center.
