The Lions hold off late inning comeback against Parkside

CENTREVILLE, Md.– Queen Anne’s defeated Parkside in a final score of 6-5 on Wednesday afternoon.

Parkside got on the board first and would take a 3-0 lead, but Queen Anne’s would tie it up off a bases clearing RBI double. QA would take the lead in the same inning off a wild pitch.

The Lions would add to their lead with a 2 run RBI double to make it 6-3. Parkside would plate 2 runs in the 7th to make it 6-5 but would ultimately fall just short.
