Lincoln man charged in connection to Georgetown area burglaries
GEORGETOWN, Del. – Delaware State Police have arrested a Lincoln man in connection to two recent Georgetown burglaries.
On April 9th, troopers responded to a home in the 26000 block of Lewes-Georgetown Highway, learning that someone had entered a storage container on the property sometime in late March. The suspect then reportedly took a 4-wheeler, mini bike, and numerous power tools.
On April 18th, troopers learned of a theft in the 25000 block of Prettyman Road, where lawn and garden equipment were reported stolen from a 66-year-old woman.
Detectives linked 32-year-old Frank Montgomery to both incidents. Montgomery was taken into custody on Monday, at which time he was charged with multiple counts of theft, third degree burglary, and third degree criminal trespass, and released on his own recognizance.
