Saturday is free National Park Admission Day

BERLIN, Md. – Saturday kicks off National Park Week, which means entrance to all National Parks is free.

Saturday is one of six days annually that free admission is offered, and that of course includes Assateague Island National Seashore.

Officials say this is a great opportunity to visit a new place or an old favorite.

Only admission on these days is free. Fees for amenities and activities still apply.
