Early morning fire destroys pole barn in Dorchester Co.
HURLOCK, Md. – An investigation is underway after an early morning fire destroyed a pole barn in Hurlock.
Firefighters responded to 4270 Beulah Road just after 2:30 a.m. Crews were able to control the blaze in roughly one hour.
Fire marshals say the cause of the blaze remains under investigation. There were several pieces of powered equipment inside the barn at the time of the fire, and total damage has been estimated at $225,000.
