Tidal Health honors organ donors

SALISBURY, Md – Tidal Health held their annual ‘Donate Life’ flag raising ceremony on Monday.

In partnership with Infinite Legacy, a nonprofit organ procurement organization, the event celebrated National ‘Donate Life’ Month, honoring past, present, and future organ and tissue donors. Tidal Health CEO Steve Leonard said the donation doesn’t only benefit those who receive, but it’s something that can help bring closure too: “In many ways this helps families work through grief by knowing that their loved one can contribute to helping the lives of others who have been living with either chronic disease or some significant need, and being able to turn that around is amazing

Leonard added that it’s important to have conversations about donation with family and loved ones.
