Man arrested in connection to February restaurant burglary in Rehoboth
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – A Lewes man has been arrested in connection to a restaurant burglary that happened last month.
Troopers say the incident took place during the early morning hours of February 14th at Agave Mexican Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. It was determined that the suspect got into the restaurant through an unlocked door and stole money, alcohol, and keys to a Ford Transit van, before stealing the van and fleeing. The van was recovered the following day.
Further investigation led police to identify the suspect as 37-year-old John Ottolini, who was taken into custody on March 27th. He was later released on his own recognizance after being charged with third degree burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, and theft under $1500.
