Good Morning Delmarva discusses the Pine’eer Craft Club’s 50th Anniversary
47ABC – The Ocean Pines Pine’eer Craft Club is gearing up to celebrate 50 years in the community with an anniversary event.
It will be held in April on the third Thursday of the month at 10AM.
We sat down with the vice president of the Pine’eer Craft Club, Kelly Shoaf Davis, who tells us the club has deep set roots in the Ocean Pines Community from as far back as April of 1974!
She says they’ve evolved over the last 50 years and have only continued to grow.
We’re also told the crafters do their best to help the community through fundraising.
Davis says their craft fairs have raised over 100 thousand dollars for the community and they have provided defibrillators, bike helmets, and even gas masks to firefighters.
She wants everyone to know that the club is not exclusive and open to not just members of the Ocean Pines community, but other surrounding areas.
The Anniversary meeting is an opportunity for everyone to come together.
