Milford area bridge to close for upgrades March 18th

MILFORD, Del. – The Town of Milford has announced an upcoming bridge closure.

Work will begin on upgrades to the Walnut Street Bridge, which runs over the Mispillion River, on Monday, March 18th. The updates will add a traffic calming feature for the bridge, as well as a handicap accessible pedestrian crossing, which will link to the Riverwalk.

The first phase of the project is expected to last around 45 days, at which time the bridge will be closed to traffic.
