One injured in Smyrna shooting, police investigating

SMYRNA, Del. – Smyrna Police are investigating a shooting that left one injured late Monday night.

Police were called to the 500 block of Sequoia Drive at around 11:45 p.m. for a reported shooting, finding a 25-year-old man in a nearby yard suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper extremities. After receiving medical attention at the scene, the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. We’re told he remains in the hospital in stable condition.
