Smyrna girls eliminated by top seeded Caravel

BEAR, Del. – Smyrna’s Cinderella run in the DIAA girls basketball playoffs came to an end at Caravel Monday night. The Eagles fall to the number one seed in the tournament, 64-38.

Smyrna kept up with the Bucs in the first half, keeping up with Caravel, 14-14, in the second quarter.

The Eagles were limited to just 10 and 5 points in the third and fourth quarters by a stifling Caravel defense.
